I think it's time that we admit the truth about the Chappelle Show

but it was overrated to me

the charlie murphy stories, when keepin it real goes wrong stories, and white supremacist skits were the best to me and some other stuff was good.

Here's my outlook, on that;

Geoff Brown, a comedian, has an interesting quote; (I'm loosely quoting)...a nation is only as storng as it's secrets...black people have no secrets

No thing I notice about "black" shows is; it's always on some documentary tip

Like, they're teachin you want black people are, so comes the pressure to get it right and appease the grand scale of blacks

It's a theory I'm still workin' on, but, it can't be good that ppl think they know black ppl, because, they have BET or listen rap music or a have a black friend

As far as the bold they think they know black people because they are lazy and truth be told most people are lazy and go with the stereotypes since it doesn't take much work.

It was a very intelligently written show and the genius of it still reverbirates today.

I felt like it would of lasted longer on a network like HBO where it would not go over most of the audience's heads. Unfortunately what appelas to a broad audience is base; the lowest common denominator and thats what mainstream America took away from the show, not the nuenced social commentary. Dave was a successful actor before CC (half baked came out in '98) he did not need this show to be financially or professionally secure.

Everything is fukking c00ning to you guys. Dave has always done racial comedy in his standup. He went crazy from all the attention he was getting. He couldnt go anywhere without motherfukkers yelling shyt like "WHAT!" "OKAY!" "WHAT!"

no lie I was in Yellowstone national park (i worked there for a couple summers), and Dave Chappelle came through the hotel. Even there, in the middle of fukking nowhere people were doing the lil john shyt to him, and crowding around him.

yeah we can't completely blame Chappelle. Dude is a fcking genius str8 up. He probably knew CACs would go over board. And he didn't like having his creativity controlled at times, and he didn't know regular white people would cross every racial line possible because of his show.

Where else do you go when your dealing w sh1t like this, need clarity, you want to be away from America, and you're rich- Africa.
