I negged you because you followed me around in about 4-5 different threads quoting me and/or throwing jabs at my posting. That makes you a groupie, I'm not even paying attention to you - I negged you and kept it moving, yet here you are in another thread trying to get my attention. You need to find yourself a boyfriend, cause I ain't the one.

Only time I've not seen him is when his beloved Warriors choked away that 3-1 lead. They must not have shot enough threes:mjlol:

I know he was just hoping the Spurs would get blown out tonight. But somehow obsolete Popovich beat the 76ers by 27. It's a holiday miracle, it must be:mjlol:

Imagine posting about a game that you didn't even watch, and having the nerve to act like you know what you're talking about. th-th-thecoli.com.

You think you know more about basketball than Gregg Popovich:mjlol:

Did the Warriors shoot enough 3s in 2015? Then did they not shoot enough 3s, choking away a 3-1 lead in 2016? But then they desperately got KD so that they could shoot enough 3s again?:mjlol: Obviously Houston didn't shoot enough threes last year right?:mjlol:

Oh look, my #1 groupie is back following me around from thread to thread.

:wow:

Their starting unit shoots 11 threes a game (lowest by a considerable margin), and they take more long 2s, I wouldn't exactly call that a balance - their net rating is ranked 24th in the league, nearly equal with the Knicks'.

Which is why I don't understand folks saying that they have a lack of talent, they've got more talent than the majority of teams, it's their approach on offense which is limiting their ceiling.

:manny:

How many 3s does their bench shoot?

Mills, Belinelli, Bertans all are jacking them

How does this make sense to you? Murray wouldn't be a greater role, importance or impact on offense over LMA and DeRozan, yet you think it's comparable to the Warriors without KD or Steph. And really that's beside the point of this thread, regardless of Dejounte playing or not, it still wouldn't change the offensive structure of the Spurs offense; LMA and DeRozan aren't suddenly going to stop taking long 2s and replace them with 3s all because of Dejounte.

Since this is basically singling me out - I've watched around 20 Spurs games this season, which is more than enough games to get a read on how they play, and this is more about how they play v. the rest of the league. Almost every single team's offense is centered around the 3-ball, you see it in their structure, their workings, their spacing, and the looks they generate on the back of it - the same can't be said for the Spurs (specifically their starting offense). There's not only an efficiency conflict with the Spurs offense, but there's a fundamental one where they aren't creating the spacing and scoring opportunities that other teams are (more importantly, teams with less talent).

I'm watching this game right now v. 76ers and I can see it, they're taking all these long 2s, and only attempted one 3. And it's only because LMA and DeRozan are that talented that sort of approach doesn't sink the team, cause nearly every other squad would be in near ruins right now.

:hubie:

murray is a horrible shooter, imagine a backcourt of mrurray and derozan prob the woat 3 point shooting backcourt in the league

I still don't get this murray love folks acting like spurs are missing a all nba pg and not a dude that avg 8points and 3 assists

13 per game (7th highest out of all second units)
4th in points per game and 7th in efficiency RD.

They've been one of the best performing second units this season, which is why I don't understand this point about them lacking depth/talent, especially when you have LMA, DeRozan and Rudy in the starting lineup - that's greater than around 90% of teams.

Of course, you have to allow for garbage time and dead parts of the game (which goes both ways), but their bench has been the reason why they've had success on the offensive end. The only reason why the starting unit's offense hasn't fallen off a cliff with their approach is because of how talented DeRozan, LMA and Rudy are at creating their own shots - any other team and it would look like some shyt outta the 90s. All they need to do is work more actions from behind the arc (instead of those long 2s) and the Spurs offense would put teams to bed before halftime on the regular.

They (spurs) have Tim duncanitis......it’s where you think some big man is gonna dominate what has become a perimeter game .......so they threw their money behind Lamarcus.....bad bet....then derozen....another bad bet....all because pop doesn’t want to show he had to adjust because his student protege Kerr unlocked the cheat code. Pop gonna win with midrange and paint points or die tryin.....sad what the ego does to a man:wow:

Kind of not the best time for this thread to get upped when Spurs have won 5 of 6 with a roster that really isn't very good.

3 of those wins were against the Sixers, Clippers, and Lakers, who are three of the top nine teams in the league right now.

Beat the Sixers by 27 while only taking 23 threes (to 37 for the 76ers), beat the Clippers by 38 with only 22 threes (to 31 by the Clips), and beat the Lakers by 13 with 31 threes (to 36 by the Lakers).

Not only did I not upp this thread, but once again, you're proving you don't know what you're talking about because you're not watching the games, I mean, you're really out here saying their roster "really isn't very good" when they've got one of the best offensive trios in the league, and one of the best-performing second units this season.
