nikka lmao unless you’re going to develop iOS apps, you don’t need a Macbook. You can get a MacBook but don’t just switch for the fukk of it. Actually do research on what the fukk you’re doing. Good luck

:mjlol:Breh my smooth brain lately but just thinking about something that will last long and snappy. I'm kinda getting tired of Windows. I just want to have a minimalist lifestyle on some Wabi Sabi shyt.

If money wasn’t an issue what would you truly want to do with your life?

On the real, I really want to get deep into writing. During the pandemic, I actually created a blog that damn near had 300 followers. Writing is so relaxing to a marsupial and it helps with my creativity. I can easily write a poem and a story in a instant, than anything else.

:francis:I just have bad juju with keeping my content because some shyt tends to happen with my material (harddrive crash, accidental deletion, etc).

coding became a pain for me when I stopped paying attention to it. I don't know why you want to jump back in when you already have a degree but they're going to force you to complete at least Calculus 2 if you're looking for a degree. the college I went to was sequential from python > Java > C++ then Ruby and other stuff.

Web design is much easier to learn if you ask me and was a lot more fun. I didn't feel like there were as many errors when doing so.
For a second I was thinking you meant web development. I was going to say web development was fun, but the worst experience for me. Its all javascript, but then there's like all these new frameworks popping up every 2 days.. As soon as I learned EmberJS, AngularJS 2 was the wave. When I was about to switch to Angular, React came out. I felt like the dude from Luke Cage "I'm going back to Backend development where its safe"

Shout out to designers though. I can't make my way around laying out to buttons on a screen properly

React JavaScript & python

again in case you scrolled past this....

LEARN JAVASCRIPT AND REACT.

Find bootcamps that target minorities. Look for the ones that target black women, lgbt etc (yes I know you are prob neither) they usually don't have an exclusionary clause to men and many of those camps are free and will also provide a stipend if necessary.

Windows 10 is a great OS and MacOS is more about aesthetics. A lot of software is not capable with MacOS. Actually invest in a good laptop with good specifications. I’m sorry breh but I recommend you educate yourself more on tech in general.

You know breh...you right:ehh:. Like I been Windows all my life and used to dread on Apple products and even selling them. I remember me and this dude try to convinced his daughter on at least getting a surface book since she had such a hard on for the Macbook. I used to do that the whole time and with the bullshyt I been through, I'm falling into the same exact trap.

You are right about the aesthetics of Macs and how they draw people in. I just wanted a change in my life because shyt just been rough for a marsupial:mjcry:.

I'm going to do more research in getting a legit gaming laptop instead and just cloud saving my shyt. I'm talking Google Docs back to the basics.

Rep and Dap for such a post breh:wow:

It really doesn't matter.

Web development will use a browser or some notepad so OS isn't important. You're likely going to be using an IDE for computer programming and those are on Mac too.

you don’t need all that. just a standard reliable windows laptop. You’re wasting time thinking about something that doesn’t matter and is not going to make you better at what you are trying to accomplish. As long as it can run an IDE you are fine. Funny thing is you don’t even need an ide. You could build and deploy a web app straight off google app scripts if you wanted. I wouldn’t recommend it, but it’s possible

Lately, I been on this weird stump in my life where I don't know what to do as a struggling IT marsupial. I have a degree and diploma in Computer Hardware and Networking but I want to embrace that freelance business life. So here's the pickle, I want to get into programming or web design, but I don't know where to begin. I done some classes in college but :picard: the memories of enduring two days of trying to fix a minor error turns me off of the idea, but I love the experience of being puzzled.

I already plotting to cop a Macbook just for this purpose but I just need yall jewels and game to push me in the right direction because I'm lost in space with this big ass mainframe.

:feedme:Help ya fellow Coli marsupial programming and web designing brehs:mjcry:
I had this urge to get into Video game designing in 2006...was ready to go to Full Sail and everything.
