Are you talking about Cripple H? The match with Michaels that was such a disappointment that the crowd chanted BULLshyt to end the show in disgust? The Flair match was alright. Surprised you remember it though. Batista? Alright main events with clean finishes.
No i am talking about that post Christmas match they had in December, HBK the goat bumped like crazy and wrestled a more technical style in that match, he wrestled a counter style to HHH brawling style and the match was perfect. I know you have in for HHH but HBK is eons beyond HHH and made their matches classic.

Haitch vs. Rock at Backlash 2000 and vs. Austin at No Way Out 2001 are definitely great matches and better than any Austin-Rock matches I'd say.

To this day it pisses me off that they never did that triple threat with them at some point.

HHH never gave HBK his best match tho.

You can probably go down the whole roster and compare the two and their mutual opponents and HBK almost ALWAYS has the better match. :smugcena:

True indeed, he even gave Randy Orton his best matches like the match when the superkick was banned, people Edge had his best matches with Cena, i disagree, HBK did, same with Y2J, Kane JBL and even Vince's best was when he wrestled the goat.

Backlash is a great storytold match but Austin vs Rock at WM 17 was the perfect Attitude Era Main Event match. The way it was all done..the build and the way Austin played it during the match and the Rock never staying down even with Austin's antics. It's very memorable and a toast to two guys at the top of their game. I don't think you can do a big match better than how that was done.

And Vince McMahon vs Hogan was MUCH, MUCH more memorable than that squash match at WM 22. LOL.

I guarantee if they asked HHH the same question he'd say Bret never had a great match either.

Nobody but 5 internet give a fukk about that lousy Mind Games bulllshyt Mankind and the unaccepted Michaels at the time. shyt was a joke and the ending was goofy as fukk:laugh: No wonder no one bought that bullshyt back then with that being the WWF title match at the time. War Games with the NwO>>>>>that garbage

:manny: I thought it was a good match, Michaels worked a more aggressive style and acted like a tough, gritty face in the match and Foley was probably in the shape of his career. Yea, the ending blew and that probably why it's not a all-time classic but still a one of great '96 HBK matches.

So you are seriously trying to say that you sat down and watched that match in 2013?

No, I watched that match from From The Vault Shawn Michaels DVD, I was a big HBK mark back when I was 12-13 :myman:. I understand why you don't that match for a business standpoint and remember how bad the WWF was doing at the time, but I was a young kid watching this match years later just in a vacuum without being a fan back then and was impressed that Foley and Michaels had a good match that wasn't a gimmick match. Unfortunately, It was during a time where WWF looked second-rate especially hearing ECW chants during the match that the match is a forgotten gem.

I'm still curious to see Bret's list of 1000 wrestlers that he thinks are all better workers than Triple H.

As far as Jericho goes, I don't even like the dude and I'm always suspicious of his motives, but I think he's right about this even if his opinion just happens to be good for his career prospects. People have every right to question HHH's political character and selfishness, but in my opinion he's held up his end of a lot of great matches.

I wouldn't pretend I think he's the best worker in the world, but to say he's not in the top 1000 is just silly. Bret Hart just doesn't like the guy because of his role in the screwjob. Bret can't completely get past that, and that's where this opinion came from.

So Brets still salty about 1997 then?Ok.All i know is HHH had a better MAIN EVENT match at a Wrestlemania than Bret ever did.The one with HBGoat and he who shall not be mentioned.Austin v Bret wasn't main event, nor was Owen v Bret. While this means nothing to most people it would probably eat away at the soul of mark-man.

:what:

Lies.

JeriGOAT is a top Kliq Canadian ambassador along with Cope da Gawd. Bret is gonna get salty because Jericho was influenced by HBGOAT and Owen. :salute: to Y2J for speaking the truth

As for HHH he's not the type to care, he's too cool, he had Howard Stern going at him on Chyna and laughed it off

That's my Game :to:
