Black folks will be a permanent underclass what have the democrats done SPECIFICALLY to remedy that situation they have done things for other racial groups specifically and yet black folks nada something has to give instead of voting for nothing. It's 2023 next election coming up what are we getting for OUR votes...

What are the major issues for you?
Free healthcare: both parties are against it. I want it and think it is waaay past due in the U.S.
Getting money out of politics: both parties are against it. I think this will help our politics greatly and have pols concentrate on the people first instead of their donors like they do currently.
Higher wages: Dems are more for it but not at a high enough rate. Minimum wage nationally needs to be $20 at least. They are currently proposing $15.
War in Ukraine: Dems are more Gung ho than Republicans. I don't care at all and think we should pull out. Not our problem.
Taxes: Repubs want them low as possible and Dems like to create exceptions out the ass making tax policy as confusing as possible. I want a simpler progressive tax code with very few exceptions that tax rich people (over $500K) to be at least 50%.

These are my major issues and both are failures IMO.

Right now in Newark, Ras Baraj has the one dollar homes for sale for Newark residents. He is steering off gentrification with this great policy amongst many hes instituting.

Bottom line with most of these discussions, The people who do the most talking never seem to pinpoint policies and always want to throw it back on someone. What policies are you reviewing? Let’s have a honest talk. Many people who do all the talking have no skin in the game. When the Republicans repeal the student loan forgiveness act in a few weeks, folks will still say both Republicans and Democrats are as bad.

As I said again… It’s obvious that you guys don’t do the work because you want somebody to do the label for you. Just say you’ve never had political curiosity even investigate what policy makers are doing and its impact on us.

It’s draining to hear people who claim they love Black people, but show that they have done zero work to know what policies are, or aren’t impacting us. Somehow, its on me to produce a list of policies you didnt bother looking for prior to coming in here.

Let’s call it a day. To bring up a list of policies, the next the coli would do is to tear them down and say they are ineffectual while not saying zero about republican policies.
