You proving my point. Ubisoft hyped Far Cry up like it was some new age FPS that was going to dominate the market and according to you, fell off after the second game and they still made like 8 more trash games. I remember every year when a new one was announced I would think, who plays these games. Aint no one ever said, check out that new Far Cry:scust::scust::scust::scust::scust:
But that doesn't make the game an industry plant lol.

Far Cry would be that rapper who started off making decent albums and then sold out to the mainstream by dumbing down his music.

Plus it was the first game to use CryEngine, engine that would be used by some other video games later on. It was a game back in 2004 that tested your PC capabilities, if you wanted to play on max settings.

In rap terminology Far Cry would be the rapper who had a specific style that some of the other rappers have adopted later on.

Far Cry 3 was a great game too. After that is when the game became a parody of themselves. This is something that happened to many video games.

Need for Speed sucked after Most Wanted/Carbon, Saints Row sucked after 3rd. Wolfenstein sucked after Return to Castle Wolfenstein (which was a classic game), And so on and so on I am just dropping names that come to mind.

Definitely Horizon. You can tell that the push that the franchise is getting isn’t organic at all.

I see you guys saying TLOU but TLOU was critically acclaimed by the media and the fans. Look at the reaction to the TLOU2 leaks. People would inly react like that if they cared about the game in the first place. The people’s love for Ellie and Joel was as authentic as it gets. No character getting killed in Horizon is getting that type of reaction.:childplease:

:troll:The Sonic franchise was made and funded solely to combat Mario.

I don’t know what industry plant for games mean but horizon seems like the right answer

to be fair I never played it but last of us got to be one of the most overrated franchises ever, i just don’t understand the hype, like i can think of several better zombie games

Far Cry is like the Drake of gaming. :scusthov:
No it's not lol what the hell????

Far Cry was the first game to use CryEngine that games like Crysis would use later on, in rap terminology it would be a rapper who originated a certain style. Drake did nothing but bite other rappers :dead:

Far Cry offered you a different FPS experience when many other FPS games were either about war or some out of space action. Far Cry said it "here enjoy some cool shootouts in the jungles"

Plus it had one of the dopest themes in a video game:

This game tested your PC back in the days. Not everyone could afford to play it, which is why it wasn't a mainstream game until Far Cry 3.

Ubisoft is a plant. They try to copy all their games based on what's famous. Then they use the same tired Mike Jones formula over and over.

GTA? Watch Dogs
Call of Duty? Xdefiant
God of War? Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Ghost of Tsushima? Assassin’s Creed

Naw you gotta give them some credit.

They created the “Ubisoft formula” and other games like GOT and Horizon followed it.
