Ubisoft is a plant. They try to copy all their games based on what's famous. Then they use the same tired Mike Jones formula over and over.

GTA? Watch Dogs
Call of Duty? Xdefiant
God of War? Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Ghost of Tsushima? Assassin’s Creed
So then call Watch Dogs an industry plant or something like that.

Far Cry was a unique experience, no game offered you such a dope jungle maps before them. It demanded strong PC back in 2004, and because not everyone could afford a Pentium 4 hardware back in those days the Far Cry series were not popular until the 3rd game.

In no way in hell are they an industry plant when they gave gamers a different gaming experience. That game was innovative, it had awesome physics, etc.

Plus it came out before Half Life 2 and Halo 2 which are considered some of the greatest FPS games ever :dead: so we can't even use an argument like they were swagger jackin some of the greatest games in that era.

I don't understand how to discuss this with you. First you called it Drake, now Mike Jones.

Industry plant terminology in video games would be something that was shyt from 1st release till last release. I've wrote several comments explaining how old Far Cry games were innovative with great graphics and different FPS feel than other games at that time.

Far Cry in Nepal is when they fell off. Did you play old Far Cry games when they came out in the 00s?

But that doesn't make the game an industry plant lol.

Far Cry would be that rapper who started off making decent albums and then sold out to the mainstream by dumbing down his music.

Plus it was the first game to use CryEngine, engine that would be used by some other video games later on. It was a game back in 2004 that tested your PC capabilities, if you wanted to play on max settings.

In rap terminology Far Cry would be the rapper who had a specific style that some of the other rappers have adopted later on.

Far Cry 3 was a great game too. After that is when the game became a parody of themselves. This is something that happened to many video games.

Need for Speed sucked after Most Wanted/Carbon, Saints Row sucked after 3rd. Wolfenstein sucked after Return to Castle Wolfenstein (which was a classic game), And so on and so on I am just dropping names that come to mind.
But Far Cry was hyped as the next big thing and it really wasn't. Maybe you enjoyed it but it was and has been overrated trash.

Far Cry did not sell crazy well because it was a demanding PC game back in the days. You are calling a video game with some of the best graphics of the 00s trash clearly means you got some vendetta against this game :mjlol: It was a well regarded game in FPS community which is what this game was aimed for.

it's OK there are some good games I dislike as well. I even agreed with you that their latest games have been overrated. But their early games? Hell no.

this gonna turn into some stan war shyt ain't it :beli:
Ironically “exclusive” games quite literally are “industry plants” by definition.

They are games that get lots of extra money, attention, and coverage because some rich powerful entity in the industry has a vested interest in their success:mjpls:

:mjlol:And just like that this thread jumped straight out the window lol. Because bruhs are calling any and every game an industry plant.
Just like how people use the term in music. People think if they don’t like something nobody else is supposed to.:mjlol:

Ubisoft is like the major that churned out industry blockbuster hits and just keeps trying to repeat the same success doing the samethings.

Definitely Horizon. You can tell that the push that the franchise is getting isn’t organic at all.

I see you guys saying TLOU but TLOU was critically acclaimed by the media and the fans. Look at the reaction to the TLOU2 leaks. People would inly react like that if they cared about the game in the first place. The people’s love for Ellie and Joel was as authentic as it gets. No character getting killed in Horizon is getting that type of reaction.:childplease:
yeah Aloy's character honestly was the weakest aspect of her games. In the first game she was a dull and weird socially awkward in a bad way and in forbidden west she's a c*nt mary sue. Let the industry tell it she's up there with Ryu and Mario :mjlol:

And yeah I remember the fallout over Joel dying, I didn't even play any of the games and was out of the loop and I got wind of that :damn:
