the person could be out of a job, between jobs, looking for work, etc. i was referring specifically to the point you made about people who are without jobs being children. you should choose the words more carefully. simply being jobless doesn't make you a child. hence why i'm saying there's more to it than just the absence of a job and car. it really depends on the person. to flat out say "you need this and that before you speak to me" seems ridiculous because it provides no real back story on the person. it's a prejudgement that attempts to value the person with materials while devaluing the person that has no materials when you can't judge a person, their potential, or their quality simply by the objects they possess...
