You cool but you sounding just like these stupid nikkas. How has not listening to trap improved your life? Maybe if cats that were on yalls vibe was as a whole doing financially better or something that cats could see y'all might have a point but y'all cats live right with those who listen to the "bad" music so what are y'all doing. Also I really wish cats would stop with the bogus y'all switch up stuff. How bout the people like me who don't switch it up? Guess people like me don't fit yalls little easy narrative

elsewhere, and folks act like the culture itself didn't push afrocentricity and self-love at one point, making a measurable dent in how blacks in society viewed things IN society.
Mind you, the music was on the radio, before net culture. The positive music came to us. We didn't even have to seek it. It was pushed.
Now I don't wanna argue all the other shyt, I am just bemused by the fact that everything else gets due credit for programming us to accept certain things as the norm, changing
expectations, and making us question our inhibitions, yet Hip Hop has this golden fence of "Nah, yall bugging" when anyone asks about it.
See a movie with a gay character? Gay agenda. Hear a couple dozen songs that advocate black genocide and drug trafficking? It's just music. Both mediums represent a valid
POV of someone living, but the measure of criticism is directly proportional to how much someone likes what they watch or hear. Bottom line, are any dudes in here willing to
let their child listen to and watch copious videos of the shyt we tend to enjoy? Don't catch feelings on this subject cause I really only meant to be in here for a second, but you can't
question other programming and then put a halo on the hip hop garbage being peddled nowadays. Can't have it both ways.
