If we discovered Aliens or if Aliens made contact with us, how would that impact our religions?

This just reminded me according to mormon doctrine I think they do believe this verbatim. Jesus christ was put in control over this Earth. And if you follow their doctrine you can become your own intergalic diety. Mormom god lives on a planet called Kolob or something. Point still stands imo.

Mormons believe humans came from another planet so if they want to call that an alien then

I don't think so necessarily...

I mean, the Bible doesn't say there aren't other realms in the universe where life exists...it just tells us that Earth is the only place where humans can live. Frankly, we have a hard enough time dealing with other humans - imagine how much we ain't ready to deal with non-humans!

But personally, I have not ruled out the possibility of "something else" in the universe...the parts in the Bible I think of in connection with that idea are:

- In Genesis where they defy the command to spread out to inhabit the Earth, and instead try to build the Tower to the heavens...God put the drop on that

- Jesus told the Apostles "I have many things to tell you, but you aren't ready yet..."

- Revelation says Earth will be cleansed and "new scrolls will be opened". Might be some scrolls talmbat "Aight, if y'all act right for a little bit, we can get some more planets to visit..."

Yes it doesnt say its other realms, and I assume you're referring to dimensions, but if GOD created everything, how can you leave that out of the story of him creating?

None of those three points point towards life on other planets though. Its just you giving your interpretation with the bias of already believing in a possibiltity of aliens

Thats not how the burden of proof works.
By going against the burden of proof, that means everything exists unless somebody proves it doesnt.
Proof is proof whether it's proof something does or proof something doesn't exist. Evidence or lack thereof is used to reinforce or dispel beliefs all the time

But you can't say something exists until you prove it to be true
We don't have any proof that it does; that doesnt mean that its true because we havent proven that it doesnt.

...because it's a different story altogether that has nothing to do with the story of Earth and humanity.
It's really none of our business - which is why I don't concern myself with it that much.

but that story is not in the bible though.
How you got another story as the creator and don't even mention it in your book?

And I don't concern with it neither
