I low-key agree with this sentiment.

I know many people that its not their fault for where there at, but ik just as many who set themselves up for failure.

If a person has a debilitating disease and can’t hold a job due to it, is it that person’s fault?

If a person has the intelligence, but was never taught how to manage money and doesn’t have access to education on finances, is it that person’s fault?

If someone is stuck in a small town with no opportunities and can’t leave because they have family obligations, is it that person’s fault?

Blanket statements like this are pointless. There are too many variables that make it untrue.

Just think about all of the immigrants that cant speak a lick of english and end up being doctors, mollionaire business owners, etc.. that should tell you it all right there.. no excuses especially this day and age.

Immigration indicates that there was a conscious effort to remove themselves from an environment or set of circumstances for a better opportunity or a fresh start. Not everyone can afford to leave where they are and worse yet, for some, a move doesn’t change what’s preventing their success.

I don't know what arguments they're making but I generally disagree
Argument is basically we are all deal different hands, you should play your hands to the best of your ability. Also if you play them bad early on in the game, you still have a chance to play them better later.

He mentions all these scenarios as outliers
1)exception to rule
2)their fault
3) exception to the rule

mentions you can google anything today as no excuse

yup.

I remember my first job in high school was like $8 per hour

There are grown men in 3rd world countries making 65 cents per hour working in factories

No excuses in the developed world.

Get paid.
