if your joints allow it, since no weight involved except self weight, higher reps is better

I noticed OP left out the most important part of the article for the people flexing in here


its 40 push ups in under a minute

for most in shape that should still be no problem.. but for some in here flexing you might wanna try again with the right timer :heh:

while some people can do way more than 40 push ups total without stopping

can you do push ups for a minute straight :usure:

Yo how are yall getting these crazy reps like I dont understand body weight exercises at all.

Im athletic I played sports all my life. But when I was young I was skinny and I couldnt do any pull ups. Then I gained about 40 pounds in muscle and I could do three reps of wide group.

Then I lost about 20 lbs of muscle/fat and I benchpress less than before obviously, can do LESS pull ups but I can do MORE pushups. And I keep maxing out at the same numbee during my reps.

I honestly don't see how nikkas is doing 100-200 in one rep how are yall doing it?

I crank out 3 sets of 60 in the bathroom with my feet on the tub, every morning, before I hop in the shower. Sometiimes I switch it up and do 60 push-ups, a set of 60 dips off the edge of the tub, and then finish with another set of 60 pushups.

That doesn’t count what we do in the dojo 3 times a week. I had no idea it had that much efffect on my cardiovascular health. I thought my supreme conditioning came from 6 years and counting of Kyokushin. Silly me.
