I’m probably going to be in the minority here but I actually care a lot about my partner’s net worth / socioeconomic status
I do as well :manny:

And it's funny because we say that men don't give a damn about how much money a women makes, yet most men marry women within their socioeconomic class. So do we really not care :jbhmm:

MEN HAVE NEVER CARED ABOUT
HOW MUCH THEIR WIFE MAKES
AND ACTUALLY PREFERRED HER
TO A BE A STAY AT HOME MOM.

HE DOESNT SPEAK LIKE
A HETEROSEXUAL MAN.

Most people are not watching the video or not comprehending what he is saying.

He said yea, sure, marry a girl making significantly less than you, but be prepared to bring up the prenup talk.

Men generally dgaf how much a woman makes, although i get the logic. Eventually you gonna get divorce and owe alot more money to a broke woman then you would have if you have been with a successful one.

This is categorically not true based on a variety of stats. The highest earning men tend to marry high earning women. Doctors tend to marry lawyers. Lawyers tend to marry financial advisers. Engineers marry accountants. Brehs running with this bullshyt from Kevin Samuels like it's reality. I can't think of a better illustration that a lot of people don't know successful people, have never been to the suburbs, etc. Your doctor is married to an attorney who doesn't cook, doesn't clean, and has the kids involved in every sport and after school program.

lol as you get older a broke bytch starts being unattractive. If you die, you want to be confident that she can hold it down if you pass prematurely. Y’all really want some dumb broke bytch spending all the insurance money and your kids don’t get shyt?

I get it men in general don’t care what a woman makes, but they should.

I'm an accountant, and i was actually married to an engineer once.
But i didn't marry her because she was engineer. We just met in college. You drawing conclusions based on employment when it has more to do with general proximity. All those Doctors and Lawyers you mentioned would've been perfectly happy dating a college dropout if they girl they met in school never graduated. The career never factored into it.

What she makes matters. It show's some level of drive/ambition that I find desirable and it keeps me from getting raked over the coals in case of divorce. Plus it is easier to build if you're both doing it rather than one person doing all the work while all the other can offer is words of encouragement.

He’s only saying get a prenup. He’s right. Everything is transactional nowadays. Yall dummies are letting pride get in the way of logic. Alot of people date down anyway because that’s the only way they can control their woman but the whole time you’re just setting yourself up for the kill in divorce.
