Melo = still one of the elites scorers in the league, but past his prime

Porzingis = 21 years old, 7'3", shoots 3's, can become a Hall of Fame level talent

Kyrie = elite scorer, awful defender, great handles, selfish player

Love = elite rebounder & scorer, mediocre defender

Both sets of dudes need to start over somewhere else

I love Bron but him and Kristaps together would be a detriment to Kristaps like breh said above

also why the fukk would they trade Kyrie for Melo :hhh: they dont even get better from that trade :gucci:
Kyrie makes Klay or GOD FORBID, Curry, actually work on defense, I can't imagine what type of fukkery would occur if they were completely jacking around with full energy not worrying about a guard threat. Those two would prolly average 80 a game and not break a sweat

A big who can shoot, run and protect the rim wouldnt thrive with Lebron ? :gucci:

Kristaps is good enough at 3 to where you'd have to respect him, but when has a Bron-led team ever let bigs who are good from mid, work to find their spots? Bosh had a similar game to KP when in the half-court, and it got neutered substantially.

While he could certainly thrive statistically, his growth as an overall player would be diminished by the shots forced to take (there isn't gonna be a situation where the coach consistently forces them to ever play KP ball like Hornacek tried at times, Lue isnt going to do that) in the system. It's for the best he stays the fukk away from that for his future, not just for Bron to have a premier positional player or whatever

Like Lue's idea of getting Love involved was by passing the ball to him as quick as possible when it appeared he might be open from 3 or passing it to him in the post and spacing out. That's not an actual system. Players don't grow from that.

Knicks wouldn't take this trade. In the triangle offense, the point guard position is the least utilized position on the team. Kyrie numbers would drop considerably.

No way, I wouldn't blow up a team that was 3 games away from the title and nearly swept the previous rounds. Also, you would probably need to include Noah in order to make this trade work.
