Just seeing how people kill LBJ for his win/loss record in the finals made me think. Sustained success is great but maybe I should've asked would you rather be 1-1 or 0-6 in the finals?

In both fb and bb I've always found this "record in the sb/finals" narrative to be real corny

I'd obviously rather the opportunity to go 6 times. But if I only win 1 out of 6 then I'm a loser and I'd be disappointed with myself. Lebron himself said he'd rather not lose in the finals.
