Again, how does importing tons of cheap labor improve the conditions of native black workers or help bring about liveable wages? If anything, restricting immigration, shrinking the labor pool and increasing the demand for native labor will bring those goals closer to reality.

Even with the shirking labor pool, we still weren't seeing a livable wage increase in which would be beneficially to black and native workers.

Why else do you think they're just pushing for Automation and talks of a UBI (mainly rich, silicon valley types) instead of addressing issues facing workers such as health coverage, housing, cost of living, write to form unions within the workplace, scheduling etc?
