That's my point breh. How is that situation better than A&M atm???
We only have 1 year of scholarship restrictions left. We were the #1 team in the nation JUST LAST YEAR.

Worked out better than the Giants season :umad:

When was the last time Texas A&M was #1 in the nation, won a national title, or their conference? Dont worry i'll wait.......:mjpls:

Never say never bruh. A&M is ahead of any school in Texas or Oklahoma right now in terms of image and cool factor. The SEC movement did wonders for them.

And let's be real about USC....before Pete got there, nobody was really checking for them too much in the late 90's. :manny:

As a OU fan I'm sure you understand that there is an ebb and flow to college football. No one stays at the top forever, but the historical powerhouses always rise again and again. Sure Oregon and Stanford are doing there thing right now, but what is considered a great season for them the past couple years was a disappoint for USC in the Carrol era. I expect USC to rise again, just like I expect OU to do as well.

I know people like to bring up last yeas failure, but I look back at it I realize how absurd it was for a program under the worst sanctions in the past 20 years to be ranked #1. Alabama got a slap on the wrist and they almost fell of the map, but like any great program they returned to prominence. All it takes is the right coach.

A decade ago:heh:

That 2005 USC wouldn't went undefeated in the SEC. Auburn was the best team that year.

The new system just exposes historically overrated programs like USC, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Michigan
the new system didn't even start yet. WTF are you talking about? :heh:
