Tweet was posted earlier but Cris Carter's had two segments saying meetings with Clips/Lakers today/tmrw and meet with Raps after. Kawhi believes he can be better than he was this season and only cares about long term success, winning more titles, and his legacy. People saying Kawhi wouldn't join LAL bc of his personality are wrong. Brought up again that LAL was the original destination and Pop told him last year he would try to trade him there before sending him to TOR. Raps don't have anything to prove in negotiations. Nothing said about Clippers.

Because that team also has two top 5 players and there are still good enough role players on the board to fill out the roster properly.

Let me ask, had the Lakers been out there yesterday signing role players to stupid deals what would be the reaction then? “Ohhh, Kawhi don’t even want to play with them, Lakers overpaying for bums, hate hate hate.” Just know that us Laker fans really do appreciate it. It’s been so long since we’ve been hated on because of fear...feels like home....
