Got damnit. Ennis out on Wednesday and they giving extra minutes possibly to MCW....
Most likely looking at 1-3:francis:

Another adjustment for Rockets' Michael Carter-Williams

"As much as Rockets guard/forward Michael Carter-Williams has sought to adjust to a different role with different responsibilities with the Rockets, and to do it while playing limited minutes, that was expected when he signed as a free agent to play a variety of positions. most very different than he has in his first five NBA seasons.

He will have another unexpected adjustment to make on Wednesday. He will become a fill-in starter.

Though Carter-Williams will likely remain on a minutes limit as he comes back from the soreness in his right knee, he said the knee has not hindered him in any way and will not be an issue as he moves into the starting lineup with James Ennis III out and Chris Paul completing his two-game suspension.

"They're being cautious, that's all," Carter-Williams said of the Rockets limiting him to 15 to 18 minutes. "Some days are worse than others. For the most part, it's been going pretty well."

Carter-Williams has struggled in his brief stints on the floor, played an average of 11.3 minutes per game, making 5 of 16 shots to start the season, while trying to adjust to playing off the ball more than he is accustomed.

"I've got to do a better job of creating more, even when I'm off the ball, whether it's setting a screen for a guy, making a cut to the hoop," Carter-Williams said. "I learned I have to do a lot more off the ball because we have guys like James (Harden) who are going to be on the ball a lot."

Still, Carter-Williams said his primary emphasis as a starter will be "to get our team off to a pretty good defensive start."

"I'm excited," Carter-Williams said. "I know we have a few guys out. We need everybody to step up. I'm excited to go out there and start and just play my part. Same mindset. Just go out there, play my game, do the little things to help my team win.

"(Coach Mike D'Antoni) has a lot of confidence in me. That's greatly appreciated. Now I have to go out there and prove to him why he should instill confidence in me and do my part."

D'Antoni is not alone in his faith in Carter-Williams.

"He's great, man," Harden said. "He has to keep his confidence level high. He does a lot of tremendous things on both ends of the floor. He'll get a lot of opportunities."

On Wednesday, he'll get them from the opening tip."

I only caught glimpses of tonight's game. Ennis and Paul were out so i understand that.

From the first two games and preseason, Harden didn't add to his game this offseason like I would've wanted, so he's still a bit too sloppy with the ball to be a point guard for extended minutes. Still too fixated on the iso ball F-you 3 from 23 feet out, and just over dribbling in general. Same with Gordon and his shot selection at times. And MCW shooting spot up 3s just needs to stop.

They may very well cave in for that Butler trade if CP3 doesn't right the ship from the get-go starting on Friday.

How did Melo look? I see he had a nice game stat wise, but was it in the flow of the offense, and did he look comfortable out there with Harden?

His best game with the Rockets and his best game of the season so far. Efficient and very much in the flow.

Have a look

No wonder the anti-Melo threads weren't upped tonight

And seeing him abuse Ingles in the post, is infuriating that the Thunder didn't use him like that in the playoffs last year. Oh well, they kept who they wanted.

Pathetic effort from EG and Capela. They were the worst motherfukkers on the floor. EG missed damn near every shot, and Capela provided no type of protection at the rim, and on offense he was going up as weak as a limp ED dikk. A sickening display of basketball from those two. And that’s on top of the refs blowing a lot of calls, but I don’t care about that, cause that’s not something the Rockets can control, but they CAN control simple effort and drive. I turned the channel and cut the radio off. Wanted nothing to do with them.

Melo got us within 5 and missed a key 3 that would’ve pulled us to within 2 in the 4th. With Paul & Harden we don’t lose this game though. Melo had no help from Flash Cap and a wide open beyond the arc MCAyyyyyeeeW, D’Antoni also needed to let Hartenstein get some more run when Favors & Chowder were on at the same time.

MCW is beyond trash. He is an anti-run player. Every time the Rockets were going on a run, he would do some dumb shyt.

I can't believe I didn't know about how bad he was.

I thought with the MCW signing, he’d be inspired being with a new team of this type and contribute like first year Rockets Corey Brewer, but instead he’s playing worse than 2nd year Rockets Corey Brewer.

Would have also helped had Hartenstein and Clark played more when Gobert wasn’t on the floor. 2 minutes for each guy is unacceptable.
