In an absolute stunner Josh Allen has been named MVP over Lamar Jackson despite not making All-pro first team (First time since 1987)

I believe Lamar should’ve won the MVP.

I haven’t scrolled through this thread, but I gather the reasoning for the Josh “hate” is due to the media and how they are extra with creh QBs, like ALWAYS.

Funny how Hurts isn’t being mentioned as a great QB in spite of his 2nd SB appearance, and barely losing his first one by 3 points. My point is, if he was a creh QB, he’d be ranked 2nd after Mahomes, but since he’s a breh :mjpls:

And Lamar not winning is more :mjpls: than anything else.

I don't think it's a crime that Josh Allen won MVP. I could have seen it go either way.

But, I will say this is why you can't always compare MVP votes from different seasons. You are correct that Lamar did not have the gaudy stats last year and that those that voted for him or thought he deserved MVP (myself included) focused on the lack of supporting cast he had on the offensive side of the ball.

However, there is one big difference between this year and last year. There wasn't a QB last year that was having an historic season like Lamar did this year. It is not an apples to apples comparison. If Lamar had statistics similar to Josh, that argument would hold more weight.

With that said, I am fine with Allen winning MVP as if people aren't doing some revisionist history b.s., people were saying the Bills would take a big step back this year and many had them finishing third in the AFC East. I think Allen or Lamar (even Barkley) all had valid arguments.

I've been saying it all thread but these Coli goofs on here being emotional acting like this was the crime of the century. Like you said Lamar, Josh, Saquon had arguments even Henry :manny: .. Dan O had a perfectly good reason for his vote but dudes on here gonna ignore his reasoning

eagles offense runs through the best RB in the league, not hurts.

he also plays in the NFC. all the best QBs are in the AFC, only one of them can go to the super bowl

Imma c00n because I'm a Bills fan that supports my QB winning MVP? :russ: :mjlol: Again I never said Lamar didn't deserve the award like you goofies on here. He had a great season along with Saquon & Henry all of em deserved consideration imo. If I had a vote Iit would've been Co- MVP :manny:

There’s a difference between historic and great.

This is just a reminder for black folks (boxing, NFL, corporate, anything subjective) the margin has to be significant enough where we can’t leave it to interpretation for these crackas to screw us.

-Josh had a great season (I personally don’t mind he won)
-Dan Orlvsky, and Acho campaign of Josh was nasty. shyt rubbed me offf as a black man. I’m a black man first before a fan of any fukking team. nikkas gotta have some pride.

Lamar had the following:
-First QB to reach 900 yards rushing, 4000 yards passing.
-5th highest QB rating ever

Anyone who watches football know that Philly would probably gone 17-0 with Lamar or Allen at QB. He got the easiest job of any QB in the league this year and rarely look impressive.

It's like saying Brock Purdy is better than Lamar or Allen because he been to a Super Bowl and almost won and they haven't. Nobody actually believe that. Nobody would believe that even if he won.
