In hindsight KD making deep Western Conference runs with Yung Sabo is incredible

FIGURED OUT THEIR ISSUES?

:mjlol:nikka WESTBROOK
WAS THE ISSUE.

HIS JUMPSHOT
IS ALWAYS GONNA EXPOSE HIM
COME PLAYOFF TIME
AND THE ELITE TEAMS
ARE GONNA GAMEPLAN ON THAT.

It was mostly Westbrook true :mjlol:

By that, I meant, stop turning the ball over. Stop shooting his team out of games. Stop ignoring KD when he was wide open. Get the whole team involved instead of doing a your turn my turn offense. KD takes some blame though by being too passive because he obviously didn’t have this conversation with Russ which is why he was so outta pocket. Like I said they would’ve had no opposition in the West except Golden State for at least five years. They would’ve and should’ve won.

Westbrook was never THIS bad. This is a whole nother level of bad Westbrook has descended to.

Not to mention KD wasn't without criticism himself in some of those series.

He was always this bad, and the last three games of the 2016 WCF reflect this.

:mjlol: Westbrook can make the playoffs by himself with scrubs. Add kd and having a deep playoffs run is not incredible

crazy people are trying to pretend actual history didnt happen
westbrook is my favorite player after Nash retired... he has been called Sabotage on here for a decade... thats facts
he's been called low IQ his entire career, thats facts.
people held years long, back to back reasons all on TV and broadcasts, why KD needs to leave and how trading harden and keeping russ was a mistake

there isnt a winner when people bring up Lebron or KD ... both them nikkas as of today have differed to Westbrook and not said shyt ... thats facts too

people get confused cause westbrook is dope, but he will fukk up the end of your games. So people dont know whether to call him good or bad, when people go to extremes it comes off ridiculous

dude blew his knee out twice and broke his hand and still played
if most people had the drive and enthusiasm as westbrook, the nba would be more exciting
I think thats why KD and Lebron..... Beal, Harden PG etc dont say shyt... because you cant deny that he's trying
thats why I watch him, I know its gonna be exciting no matter what.

Nobody is disputing what his flaws are and have always been.

The problem with this thread is, folks are merging his entire career and play into one, as if the player you see this season is the same player that existed when he averaged 30 points per game, when he was capable of carrying an offense, by himself. A time when he was capable of being the driving force on every possession. A time when he couldn't pick and choose when to assert himself. A time when he couldn't just rely on those around him.

Muh'fukkas posting bullshyt about him having "one of his best shooting seasons" is beyond disingenuous to the point where all you can do is look from afar and shake your head in disbelief.

This is the same guy that missed out on the playoffs in 2015 when KD went down to a second year Anthony Davis.

When in the previous season, KD managed to have OKC seeded #2, without Russ for half of the season, in a much tougher and less injury riddled Western Conference.

He’s always been this bad.

As a Kobe stan, I remember the baby Thunder giving those Laker squads problems. The things that stood out to me about Westbrook was the crazy athleticism, reliable mid-range jumper, and a free throw percentage in the low to mid 80's. It's the precipitous drop in free throw percentage that I can't understand.

The whole cotdamn thread is revisionist bullshyt.

KD fans LOVE re-writing history :unimpressed:

Are y’all suggesting Westbrook was a better decision maker in OKC than he is now? :usure:

Y’all are saying without actually saying, LeBron has the worse version of Westbrook. Yeah Westbrook is older, but he’s been a bad decision maker on the court for years. This isn’t new. I don’t see any revisionist history in this thread. Westbrook has always been a highly athletic high volume player that made poor decisions with any running mate he played with. Folks like Shannon Sharpe and other Bron fans are just now admitting to it because of how negatively it’s effecting Brons team. When he was next to KD though, and when KD dipped to GS, it was “KD already had a an all time PG in Westbrook. Why’d he flee to a stacked team?” But now that Sabo is jacking up Brons Lakers, Bron stans wanna now bring up his poor decision making, poor shot selection, and play dumb like this hasn’t been Westbrook’s play style even when he was KD’s running mate. This has always been who he is. This is what KD had to deal with, now this is what Bron is dealing with. Hell, even a prime 2013 Westbrook would’ve been chased outta town and blamed by Bron stans if he played aside LeBron and was constantly making poor decisions..Imagine a high volume TO machine playing alongside bron and not getting the blame? KD was crucified for fleeing to GS, but now folks are starting to get it. :yeshrug:
