Name another star player in the last 10-15 years who played with less talent around him than Carmelo Anthony.

:jbhmm:
Paul george carried a rag tag group of pacers to the playoffs just this past season. Thats Melo's fault anyway, had NY gut their roster for a midseason trade. Had his chance to bounce last summer and didnt

When Melo was coming out of college I compared him to a more athletic version of Glenn Robinson but as time goes by I'm starting to realize he is out Benard King.

Will Melo ever surpass his current point of success or is he destined to be a big time individual player who doesn't really lead his teams anywhere?

Honesty Melo is far from as explosive as Benard was but the overall career slant seems in line.

To be fair.. Carmelo never had other superstar help... mostly his fault..

If Lebron couldnt do it without 2 other all stars, we shouldnt judge Carmello. Bernard was in the same position..

Melo's built a career off of shooting a lot and idiots thinking PPG is of any value.

He had a decent squad in Denver

Lebron and Wade (pre-big3) did more in Cleveland and Miami with less than what he has (and had) with the Knicks

Great player but he needs a leader like Bron had in Wade
Agree with the first point but I wouldn't say LeBron needed a leader because he led those teams on and off the court. Also, that team had a collection of leaders (LBJ, Wade, Juwan, Udonis Haslem, Spo and Fizdale). He needed a reliable second option.
