I never said that they were plus defenders. I never even said that Mitchell had to be a + defender. I've always said that you don't have to be All NBA on defense, but at least be average enough to not be a complete liability on the floor that teams can exploit. For the majority of those players listed, Mitchell wouldn't necessarily be an upgrade nor make their teams better than they are now. Mitchell in Washington instead of Beal would have that team in the same position that they're in now. A team like Minnesota also wouldn't trade Ant for Mitchell as a lot of people think that Ant has potential to be top 3 player in the league.

Ironically enough, it's hilarious that you complain about me cracking jokes about Mitchell's defensive issues in the playoffs when you and other people essentially do and did the exact same thing when you bring up the Clippers series and how Gobert got exposed by Terrance Mann.

I made this thread based on a real life conversation with friends. Plus shyt I've seen on twitter. I've seen Mitchell called a superstar. Gobert and Jrue I've never seen called superstars.

Why is it a conversation for someone considered a superstar but not for Gobert or Holiday?

Yeahhhhh you've been missing out on conversations lately on this site and over the years as a lot of people at the time would have told you that Milwaukee and Utah overpaid for those players. Hell, a lot of posters shyt talked and clowned Holiday literally until the moment he won the ring in Milwaukee. A lot on this site were literally making fun of Minnesota for all they gave up to get Gobert and you can look up that thread to see for yourself.

I defend Gobert on this site and I even I would tell you that Minnesota gave up too much to get him as all they did was increased the asking price for other players around the league going forward.
