I hold Drake in that exact same category of just the Hot nikka right now. He could very well end up being Nelly or Ja. Granted they haven't been as hot for as long, Nelly has had a more successful run than Drake I think so far. Not that Drake won't surpass him. He's not a great lyricist but obviously his audience doesn't care and thats not his appeal. Drake just doesn't have an album or a body of work that definitely puts him up there with the greats just yet, we'll see tho.

Drake is not even top 100? lol but hey, He's very popular, new school, and alive, so I understand the hate.

Drake doesn't have classic under his belt YET, be he had great body of work. His features, mixtape, and non-retails cuts are up there with the best. His impact on the game can't be denied. He's also skilled mc who, unlike other successful mainstream rappers like Nelly, can rap with legends without looking out of place. He's Top 50 for sure.

Some of the so-called greats never dopped classics either.

How are the runs much different? Nelly is one of the best selling artists of the 00s decade with many hits and his first album is diamond. If anything his run is more successful than Drake's as of right now. Nelly was as popping back then as Drake is now imo
