it's a classic even though it sounds outdated on certain songs and there's also alot of filler tracks

the good timeless tracks are THAT GOOD

it retains classic status

i'll give it classic status off of Kill You, The Way I Am, and Drug Ballad

i play those 3 songs all the time still

That said....it would be impossible for me to not say his run with SSLP/MMLP/ES/Devils Night/8 mile was not legendary....

Then you add that this run was almost exactly with my time through middle school and high school (98-05)....I have no prob with someone around my age (27) saying it is classic and people 5/10 years older saying it was terrible/not classic/overrated

If you deny his verse on Remember Me...I cant take your opinion on rap seriously

Yes, his last three or four projects have been uninspired, corny and musically bad; but there's no denying he had a solid run there for a while.

Cry me a river. Nobody hates Eminem because he's white. It's the most ridiculous, racist argument of all time when related to music. And it's offensive to me because it disrespects history and attempts the 'reverse racism' card when in fact, Black people have been continuously undermined in this industry. Read up on it if you care, but you probably don't.

Black people have demonstrated over decades that they're happy to let almost any White person into their culture, whether voluntarily or involuntarily. I've been a fan of songs made by White rappers and White producers. Why would I hate on Em all of a sudden just because of skin color? Black people are the most accepting people on the planet. For worse imo, but that's a whole other convo.

Em sucks to me because his shyt is flimsy, and he's obviously selling because he's White. It's no question. All that 'skill' stuff is 90% bullshyt. He's the highest selling rapper of all time because he has the biggest cosign and the Whitest skin, period.
