How can it be a wasteland when both QBs won Super Bowls and Multiple MVPs :what:
Because they don't spend any money in free agency and rarely trade for game breaking players. Unless they hit multiple home runs in every draft, they're in trouble. The ravens do the same shyt. They never make big trades or signings and have struck out badly on most of their draft picks over the last 10 years. After watching a team for long enough or if people point things out, you start to notice these things.

It is a wasteland because Rodgers should have as many Super bowls as Brady amd gets shafted every year in Green. He would literally be better off as a New York Jet because then he would be guaranteed a top 10 D every year and a real chance at a Superbowl. As things stand though, Rodgers career will be an all-time waste of talent if he stays in Green Day and continues to flounder because Green Bay's GM can't or won't upgrade the team's defense with free agents/great draft picks.

The mid-late 90s Packers were stacked. They just didn't get it done outside of that one year (Brett included). There is no telling how many SBs they might have if Favre didn't go Favre so often. They are wasting Rodgers and a weak division now though.

Because football is more than just having a great quarterback chief. You need a strong team and the Packers defense has been trash for years. Also, Favre was a pick machine. Plus, winning a SB takes a fair amount of luck.

also I think arod sometimes trying to be too perfect with shytty defense theyve been fielding. Im not saying he should go and have :smugfavre: amount of fun out there but sometimes you just gotta let it rip. and weve seen that shyt on hailmarys and situations where it was 'nothing to lose' time.

and we already know what hes like with a top ranked D

You gotta wonder how much of that is McCarthy. You look back at that SEA game a couple years ago. They were so passive offensively once they got that lead. They got a pick 6 that would have iced it and downed the ball. Once SEA took the lead late, he took the shackles off and ARod leads them right down the field for the FG. Had enough time to try to get the TD IIRC. Same thing against ARI the next year, except they were behind.

I feel what you saying but it damn sure plays a big part. Look at the teams the Steelers were able to put around Ben the Rapist. The Joe Montana to Steve Young teams. There just isn't a reason Favre and Rodgers should have a Super Bowl a piece. Hell the Vikings reached a nfcc game 1 out of 2 years with Favre. Imagine if they had em for 16. Imagine had Favre stayed with Rex and the Jets who took Mark fukking Sanchez to the AFCC game twice.

Completely ignoring one facet of building a team is a criminal disservice to your franchise QB.

Pats & Seahawks have probably been the gold standard for each conference during the past five years, and all five seasons are littered with Belichick & Schneider/Pete picking their spots and adding talent outside of the draft when the opportunity arises.

OP keep my team out ya screen. With that said i can name a shyt load of teams that are far worse for a qb to go to and play in terms of being successful. GB will not win another Super bowl until TT and Capers are gone. I dont care how well they drafted this year on D. Its gonna be the same shyt different year until those two fakkits are gone

Let's talk about it. People love to call Oakland(until recently) out as a graveyard for players. What about the Green Bay Packers. They have wasted the careers of two HoF so far. Brett Fave was able to take them to two SBs, while Rodgers has been to one. How could a team with these two as their starters in the last 25 years? Green Bay consistently ranks in the bottom half in defense and special teams. Has any other team wasted the talents of two standout QBs as bad as GB?

Sure.
