Say what you will about Primo's career as a legendary producer, but I believe an argument can be made that he was possessed when making this album. This is one of those rare pleasures that can be listened to from the first song to the last. And while lil dap and Malachi the nutcracker certainly don't rise to Nas' level of lyricism by any stretch of the imagination, their gritty rawness perfectly complements the unvarnished shine that Primo's beats are coated with. Album is a banger of the sort that remains tragically rare in this age of DJ Mustard :trash:

I think it's a definite classic. Even though you could argue that Lil Dap and Malachi are garbage, the album wouldn't have been what it was without em.

shyt... this album was on repeat for almost a year. So yes, this album is Hip-Hop Hall of Fame first ballot.

ya have no idea how much this album meant to me at a dark time in my life. Mental illness had took over, this album was the soundtrack to the come back from the edge of darkness for me. Lyrically, it isnt anything special, but the melt of preemo and group homes rawness makes for a certain type of unique sound that can make it a classic prospect. anyone know where i can get a group home hoodie? lol

this song was the banger!
