She one of them old proud jamaican ladies who want everyone to think she was the perfect mom and shyt but inside the home she living in poverty and got her son sleeping on the floor eating sardines for dinner. Obviously they wasn't eating healthy at home, junk food diets is the cheapest shyts. Biggie prolly never ate a lettuce in his life. Only vegetable he new was potato chips. he caught his first charge at 17 though. and got lukky at that because if he was 18 he wouldve gotten 5 years max not 5 years probation.

And Big wasn't selling dope in like '84, this was like '89 (the year Road to the Riches dropped). By then, a lot of rappers weren't blatently talking about selling dope out East, but cats on the West Coast was definitely rappin about gangsta shyt, and Big was heavily influenced by that. He also payed homage to Schooly D (the first East Coast gangsta rapper) by rapping over PSK (Park Side Killas)(1985) on LAD. He had his influences.
