You basically got Planet Fitness for $10 which is nothing but treadmills.

Then you got Blink which is like $20 and gets crowded. There's dumbells but maybe just 2 squat racks if you're lucky, which double for use for bench press. And they're always occupied.

Then you got like NYC Sports Clubs which is like $100 but really the same shyt as Blink except they have yoga classes and shyt.

Then fukkin Equinox which is like a goddam car payment.

Why ain't there like a $50 bodybuilding gym??
My first gym in the 90s was $30 owned by a cop/former amateur BB and had maybe 4 treadmills....

....In the back corner. :camby:
....across from a boxing heavy bag
:blessed:

Dont get me started on crossfit.
$150 to do pull-ups and snatches.
:scust:

Any of you ever look into creating a home gym??

I bought 1 yr of planet fitness for $99
The first time I saw the pizza and Tootsie rolls I was like "oh dear god" :why:
But I couldn't handle all the homosexuality at the ymca (I mean, men literally fukking and sucking each other
Stepping around used condoms etc:mjcry:

I'm looking at the city gym..
It's $25 or so a month
Run by the parks and rec

I'm swimming with a local masters group 3x a week
It's basically triathletes:francis:
I kind of liked doing my own thing,, but they have a good pool kept at a reasonable temperature (77-78 usually)
The ymca kept their pools at 82-84 which is too hot,, and noodlers would clog up my lane and be like stop splashing:troll: I don't want my hair to get wet

50 boxes of pizza- like "help yourself"
And they don't have scales, either (I weigh myself once a week)
They were like scales?? :picard: we want a relaxed atmosphere
They had boxes of bagels stacked up where you scan in
I was like.. how much more relaxed can it possibly get??:mjlol:

Forreal. You got low cost gyms and expensive gyms now. No in between.

Every neighborhood should have like 100 dudes who want to actually lift real weights pitch in and open up a mini gym :mjlol: split the cost between everybody and get our lift on

Been paying $15 bucks for Fitness 19 for yeeeeears. From the time I was in Michigan to the time I moved out here to California. Kind of lucked out.

They only have a single squat rack and no shower/pool/sauna/classes though.

Bruh I love pizza.
Like if there were no repercussions I would probably eat pizza every day if I could. That or my mom's rice/beans/chicken.

But only a fukking a$$hole would put pizza in a gym.

@Raul if you in NYC try Richies gym in brooklyn. Hardcore gym and its not expensive. I use to go there in 2012
Thanks. Issue for me is I work in midtown and live in the burbs.

Going to BK after work then home isn't possible.
If I ever move into the city I'll check it out.
