Nah it's not wrong at all, feel how you wanna feel, I think Pac is better too, music is subjective, both are clearly talented, I relate to Pac a lot more, but I can recognise MJ's talent too. I think some people downplay Hip Hop artists sometimes and I disagree with it completely, you have to go with how you feel, Pac is the greatest artist to me in all genres and I will say that cause that's how I feel and that's with liking and respecting and listening to many other artists from different genres so it's a view with knowledge, it's my opinion, everyone is untitled to theirs and no-one should catch feelings. Last I saw Pac's was winning the poll comfortably anyway...

Again, that's why I said that it's a dumb argument. You can't compare MJ to Pac because they just aren't in the same arena. There's MJ murals all across the world too plus his death sent shockwaves across the world. People were literally killing themselves after he died. I'm not a huge MJ fan like that so I'm not even biased here, but it is what it is. MJ and 2Pac just aren't comparable like that. I'm not shytting on Pac but it's the truth.

I never listened to Elvis or the Beatles, so I can't even speak on that plus they're not relevant to the discussion. It's about Pac and MJ. Quincy Jones might've boosted MJ but MJ was still writing and had his hands in his projects creativity wise. The talent was still there. This shyt just boils down to what you like. Even in the other thread, I said I'd listen to Pac's discography for the rest of my life over MJs, but that doesn't mean I can't acknowledge that MJ is the superior artist.

Do 4 year olds still wanna be Pac for Halloween or Michael Jackson? I have Godkids ages 3 to 10 and they are all MJ fans and know all of his songs by heart even the 3 year old. People love Pac but he doesn't have outright fans from every single generation even ones born wayyyy after his most influential period and death. My mom was a MJ fan at 7 and she's 52 my Godson is 3 and was born 3 years after Michael Jacksons death. When I'm playing music he always asks if I can play Michael Jackson.

PAC was nowhere close to being anywhere in the vincinity of MJs realm of stardom and influence.

This thread is inspired by @BrothaZay thread. I read it and people were laughing and shyt sucking mj's penis and shyt. It got me thinking wait hold on. Are we seriously going to sit here and act like tupac wasnt a great artist. They have stories on this man writing songs in ten minutes, going to a store coming back and writing a song, in the bathroom writing etc. He would be even drunk and high. People said mj appealed to everybody which is true. So tupac didn't? Go on his facebook and you'll see more white people and mexicans and other races than black people. I was suprised to find out how known he really is.Now we all know that in terms of icon, legend, entertainer, influence, he cant touch the king. But to laugh at somebody who says they like tupac SONGS more than mj songs is really pathetic. Oh and p.s the man was only 25 fukking years old and had a 6 year career compared to mj who was 50 and had a 45+ career
