People shyt on hiphop too much cause old heads taught them that, just like their old heads taught them that. IMO the great rappers are up there with greats from other genres, which is clearly proven by reviews they receive and also how rappers today compare to other genres.
Even the biggest dikk riders of old shyt, ranked Dr. Dre just one spot behind Eric Clapton and ahead of cats like AC/DC and Al Green. But the coli old heads would rank any arbitrary rapper from the early 90s and 80s above a Kendrick Lamar or Kanye West.
But no, MJ has so many songs that will exist forever. Perhaps th most important person in music post the inception times.

@ you getting Pac mixed up with Canibus.Pac's arguably the most versatile MC ever.Nicca could go from Brenda's Got A Baby to Hit Em Up like it wasn't shyt.
He has random songs, more meaningful/soulful than rappers whole catalogs
Pac was that simple humanity that most people lose touch with.A simple truth might be the most powerful shyt in existence.You ain't gotta complicate it all the time.
