Neck ties and boxing gloves.
There's nothing wrong with having an opinion.

I'll listen to Me Against the World or the 7 Day Theory before Thriller

Plus some people like to conviently gloss over the fact that MJ had Quicy Jones as his coach. One of the greatest musical minds ever. The closest Pac had to that was being engaged to his daughter and having a short term beef with the man.

Pac was all over the place and in his prime was always looking for something new. Pac was his own visionary.

It ain't even close. It's honestly embarrassing to even measure up 2pac with mike.

2pac isn't even unanimously the greatest rapper of all-time.

As an entertainer you can't compare the two. However, on music alone, Pac's lyrics are really more influential and inspiring to me. He also wrote them himself which you can't say for ALL MJ songs. A song like Man In The Mirror has an amazing message but MJ didn't write it. It's a tough comparison but I get what you and the OG thread starter are saying. :yeshrug:

Maybe thats because talentwise, hip hop is more top heavy than lame ass pop music :mjlol:

And even still Pac still outshines his peers

Lyrically he didn't outshine some of his peers.

Michael is the greatest of all time period. Dude was more than just a pop star. Matter of fact he didn't even start to take the pop route until thriller and even then he always had elements of different genres in his music.

Again, this is about as subjective as it gets.

You're comparing two very different artists from two very different genres and eras.

Also, again, Micheal had the great Quincy Jones as his corner man and visionary.

Pac was pretty much on his own musically. He was his own visionary.

It comes down to what you look for in music.

Lyrics?

Subject matter?

Vocals?

Dancing?

Either way, it's on you and what you play most when you listen to music or view a performance.

Pac still made the best music, unless you think Big Pun ranks higher than 2pac alltime?
