How in the hell do you realistically make arguments for and/or against players you never seen play?
It should just be understood that if I didn't see them play then they are not on your list.

How do you make ANY judgments from things that happened in the past? I wasn't there for the Civil Rights Movement, am I supposed to believe that it "wasn't all it's been made to be"?
Old footage, testimony from others (including CREDIBLE basketball people who have FORGOTTEN more basketball than most people on this site will ever learn/know) who saw them play, the player's OWN WORDS....how are these things not QUALIFIERS for players you've never seen play before.
Basically whast YOU'RE saying is "if I ain't seen it, I can't legitimize it" (this is part of the problem with the cats who want to discredit Jordan, because they never saw him....well, MILLIONS of others did and there's a reason why he's #1 on so many people's lists. I mean damn, I wasn't alive to see Bill Russell or Wilt play, so should they NOT be on my all-time lists? Especially when HIGHLY CREDIBLE basketball people have them on THEIR lists?).

This debate is only applicable to sports. Why you went off on a tangent about things like civil rights.... I dunno.
I'm not discrediting any player by having them on my list of the greater players because I haven't seen the play... I am actually doing them a favor.
You can not articulate why J.kidd is better or worse then Oscar Robertson better then you can explain why he is better then worse then CP3.
