Alex had bigger hits than Mike.

Alex da kid is waaaaaaaaaay more versatile than Mike Will. i like both but be real.

Like i said previsouly in this thread. Alex da kid's band Imagine Dragons has been tearing up the charts for months now. He produced those songs :manny:

im not trying to discredit mike because i really like his signature sound but be real breh

Breh Mike Will has more or less dominated the radio and strip clubs for almost a year. Alex Da Kid didn't do that even working with a layup (Eminem) We are talking 'Mercy' to 'No Lie' to 'Bandz' to 'Pour It Up' to 'We Still In This' to 'Love Me' to 'Bugatti' Right now on most radio stations he is on half the songs in heavy rotation. I can tell you for sure on LA radio he has been dominating since summer of 2012. Like really dominating. Vegas clubs its like 3 outta 5 songs he produced. It's really isn't even close spins wise. At all.

Don't really care about 'Imagine Dragons' Keep it Hip Hop, fam. I didn't bring up Miley Cyrus who is 10x the "star" that Imagine Dragons are.

Uh....what exactly is a hit to you then? Because those songs are getting thousands of spins a week on radio. Every single strip club in the country are playing the songs below.

No lie? #2 Mercy? #1 Love me? #4 Buggati? #9 Pour It Up is platinum certified.....and so is Love Me....the other ones are gold. Millions of people disagree with you.

We are on a Hip Hop message board, why would we be talking about non-Hip Hop acts? Though that Miley Cyrus song he did is certified platinum and hit #2 on the pop charts......

I don't think a single song Alex Da Kid has worked on is 'dope' I legit think his songs are trash.

:heh: Now you want to switch years

If u go by top 100 then J.R.'s "smallest hit" is "Want It, Need It" at #96 while Mike's is "Show Out" at #74.....

Mike is just entering his prime, we'll see how many #1's he'll have but your reasons for J.R. having a better run is :patrice:

I posted one year for each producer to prove a point. Mike Will's run started with "No Lies" from Spring/Summer 2012. This is one year in which he's had several charting singles. Compare that to the producers I mentioned, who either had a run of several consecutive years or multiple years in which they had hit songs. That's why it's laughable to say Mike Will is having a Top 5 run of any Hip Hop producer in history.
