You know
So Feenin’ and Freek’N You are in the same realm of Forever My Lady and Stay?

Y’all arguing how vulgarity has always been apart of music but users that can read know this is about the bluntness of the lyrics.
Reread the title breh. Op said nothing about vulgarity. He specifically mentions singers using the n word and curse words :unimpressed:

The first song is literally some shyt he did :skip:

He fukked Sam Cooke's wife and stayed with her after his death

He wore that man clothes and drove his car while fukking his widow and even tried to get with his daughter

But because he ain't call Sam Cooke a bytch ass nikka in the song, I guess that ain't vulgar enough for you :mjlol:

Thank you for telling me stuff everybody knows, but it has nothing to do with this thread. You're clearly missing the point.

This thread is about the use of profanities in songs, not the morality of RnB singers. When to comes to it's main topics, RnB is not Gospel.

read @MasterThought comment carefully.

I liked it when there was a clear line between R&B music and Hip Hop.

The Hip Hopification of R&B is horrible, just gutter sex music.

The shyt is not even "edgy" anymore, just vulgar and trashy.
i have no issue with it, the issue is how redundant it is and its done by everybody, plus how unfitting it is by some acts.

some acts who do it like Brent Faiyaz i like, his delievery of it works IMO and fits his image as well as Anderson Paak.

but others just seem to have a image/style that would be better suited if they stuck to Pure R&B

not saying those who do it arent making good music, but i feel it would be better if it was pure R&B

We need a nikka version of U.N.I.T.Y

I had my gen z short shorts on right 'cause it was crazy hot
I walked past these chicks when they paaasssed me
One of 'em felt my dikk, she was nasty
I turned around red, somebody was catchin' the wrath
Then the little one said, "Ha ha, yeah you gotta small dikk" and laughed

Shyt is so normal in these records sometimes you will forget it has cursing in it :pachaha:

Like I will be driving with moms or my niece and throw on what I think is nice easy listening music, and hit the :picard: when I realise how much cursing is in even the songs I thought were ok songs to listen to around the family :pachaha:

Yeah you gotta vet songs nowadays.
