Is Steph Curry on his way to passing up Zeke & Stockton & being the 2nd best PG after Magic?

And what exactly is an "MVP series"?

This is where you're just making up shyt.

He ended up shooting 38% from 3, while taking 10 attempts per game. And despite him being inconsistent, he still averaged 10 more points per game than every other Warrior.

Curry - 26 ppg
Iggy - 16 ppg

Parker - 18 ppg
Kawhi - 17.8 ppg
Duncan - 15 ppg

Spot the difference.
Warriors don't win without Iggy playing lights out like he did, he was in fact the most valuable player for that series. Stats are void here.

the series did change when he was inserted into the lineup. But Iggy's scoring is most def a product of curry.

90% of his perimeter shots in the series were wide open.

I think Iggy's defense on lebron is more valuable then his scoring in this particular series.

Do you think as a PG steph curry is more skilled then the following
Stock
Zeke
Kidd
just to name a few.

If so, define for me your definition of skilled as it pertains to playing PG in the nba.
He's more skilled than all those players. Zeke is the only one that comes close. fukk a skills pertaining to how you think the position should be played. He's more skilled as a basketball player. Period.

lol no he is not.

Besides shooting he isn't more skilled then anyone i listed.

Dude still turns the ball over, isn't a great defender, does not have the court vision of stock or kidd.

You guys are enamored with shooting and in turns makes you blind to his faults as a basketball player

And how exactly are you valuing all these PG skills - by actual impact that they have on the game or are you giving one point for every skill that "pertains" to playing the PG position?

Y'all know these lists are imaginary right?

:ld:

:lolbron: The passion in which some of these nikkas (myself included) argue the most inconsequential shyt.

Don't know about his place all time but since his game doesn't rely on strength and athleticism I don't see him slowing down for another 8 years.
Also, Draymond at the 5 running the PNR with curry is the most unguardable play in todays game.

Yes. Teams didn't have to double team any of those guys they way they do Steph.

you need to rethink your definition of skilled point guard.

That's so disrespectful to all the greats after magic.
Better shooter, better ball handler, solid defense, can score in a variety of ways.

Not just shooting. He's an elite ball handler and can score in a variety of ways while giving you 8 apg. And yes, scoring is highly commodotized skill in the NBA. That's why pure scorers get paid the most money. There are a dime a dozen point guards like Ty Lawson who fit your mold of what a PG should be, and none of them are on Steph's level (closest being CP3). And his shooting is not just elite, it's an all-time great level that hasn't been seen in the league before. Be honest, would you really choose Kidd and Stockton over Curry to build your franchise around?
