"Takeover" might actually be the most factual diss ever.

At least according to Large Professor. Jay's opinion on Nas's catalogue aside, LP said the events that Jay mentioned really did happen. It wasn't in his best interest to make the record, but he wasn't lying on it.

"Takeover" is the only diss record that would go down well in a modern Smack battle. The last verse is structured exactly like a Lux/Mook/Verb/Hitman "talk to him" style verse.
