My list is based on my own experiences. As a business owner in hiring, as a mentor to young people, as an older brother and big cousin, and in daily interaction. It's my opinion, and it's shared by many, even the generation younger than yall (my kids) notices it.

Even if back then people wore tight clothes, men could be men. We drank, we smoked and we fukked. Now you can't even smoke in a bar and there are actual studies done on how brains are being rewired in kids from internet porn. They no longer get turned on by living females!!

My generation isn't even that successful, and wont be until the old heads retire or die and let us come into positions of power. To be honest, the worst generation of all times is the baby boomers. They were given everything on a silver platter. They never had to struggle for a job, got easy credit, and basically ruined the future for everyone. They destroyed the global economy, and are coincidentally all reaching retirement age and wont have to deal with the conseqeunces of their recklessness. Any success my generation has is due to overachieving, or finding a niche and running with it.

We are the entrepreneurs who will make the black community much stronger. Our knowledge of tech and social media will take us to wayyyyyy farther heights and create a social inclusion and solidarity the generation before couldn't pull together.

We are the scariest generation by far. We don't need to be black panthers because we are intellectually and technically sound enough to get things accomplished while or ancestors didn't have that same ability.

We may not fight white oppression as "hard" as people in the civil rights movement, but that's because we are too busy making our own and I think that's good. At this point I think everyone's a little hopeless on changing white people so we are doing our own thing.

Can't change other people so we are focused on changing our selves and having a fun time doing it.

it's the parents fault. first off, there are more single mothers than 2 parent households (i won't go too far into that for obvious reasons ) and kids are coddled more. these lil fakkits don't leave the house to be on their own until they are in their mid to late 20s and shyt. my pops left his moms house at 17. got married at 18 (i wouldn't suggest ANYONE get married nowadays at 18 tho), and carved a life for him and his family ever since. just like countless other men from his generation and before. picture a lil soft ass 17 year old leaving home and moving to another state by himself to start a life.... i left the house at 21. and that was as SOON as i finished college. so did my younger brother. These nikkas nowadays tho.... i have lil cousins WELL into their 20s and still living with their parents. its sad. kick their grown asses out of the house and FORCE them to get something for themselves. being 26 and working at Becks Prime and driving a challenger while living with your moms is NOT the move. and when they do move out, they are getting a place with a chick and knocking her up and not want to build a life with her. then they cry about child support. i can go on forever, but i'll stop here. there are COUNTLESS men out here doing the same thing.

I think you're changing what this topic is about and running with it to suit your definition. We're not talking about accomplishments that's just people going off on tangents like you are. Also technology does help us get information much faster and seems to project the image that there are just tons of us willing and able to make shyt happen. The fact that they are all connected is what projects the image of us having huge numbers to make changes... the truth is though the majority of the population are still sheep who have to be woken up. The numbers of outraged people just aren't there breh. We have the potential to be the scariest but we have not used it.

My generation created all this technology and social media. Your generation only uses it. And mainly for foolishness instead of getting money or creating social movements. We're the ones writing the code, maintaining the networks, and creating emerging businesses. If my generation (30-40) disappeared tomorrow, there wouldn't be enough people left to make any of the technology work.
