"I got the most played record on urban radio and they didnt put it on the Grammys.. Kendrick got a song thats on NBA2K and a bonus joint and thats nominated in that category"

Best Rap/Sung Collaboration:
“Power Trip” — J.Cole Featuring Miguel
“Part II (On The Run)” — Jay Z Featuring Beyoncé
“Holy Grail” — Jay Z Featuring Justin Timberlake
“Now Or Never” — Kendrick Lamar Featuring Mary J. Blige
“Remember You” — Wiz Khalifa Featuring The Weeknd

I can't front on Bad that was a certified hit on the radio. Females loved that song. Quick question, how does an artist get 2 songs from the same album nominated in the same category? I mean really, were there no other artists deserving of one of the spots Jay-Z has. It does seem like an obvious bias against Wale.

heard he was from gaithersburg breh. could you elaborate for me.

He is from Gaithersburg not born here but went to school and graduated here. Its no biggie and its not really that serious its just the weird fact that he never says it. As if there is something wrong with being from Montgomery County. Im from here and the only thing bad about this place is the high cost of homes and traffic. I guess as a rapper you gotta get your street cred from growing up in the "gritty inner city." To his defense when he says he is from DC I think he means he is from the DC metro area.

Nah nikka has a point. Gifted was the best album that came out last year in my opinion.

How Bad didn't get that nod is a myth. How in the fukk did that Kendrick joint get in there. And "On the Run" too? C'mon dawg.
On the run deserves the win in my opinion

In before people born in the 90's and 00's call him wack, boring and a bytch.

....too late.

Wale do not deserve the hate he gets.

He put out a solid album last year.
He had two of the most popular songs on radio and television last year.

Him complaining about the Grammys is valid.

So because he is fighting for his work he is a bytch now?

You little niglets.

Hate is really the new love.

Just because Jay and Kendrick have two nominated songs, does not mean that they have a much more higher rate at winning the Grammys. Macklemore will win, whites love and support him. So much ether will be dropped in the culture of hip-hop when he wins. Y'all hating on a brother but are not seeing a clear picture of the real problem that's going on. Mark my words, brehs.
Breh, Ambition is a 9/10 album. If anybody is listening to that and telling me wale isnt top 5 right now...I cant take em serious.

As far as the total package...Drake > Wale > Kendrick.

That's why the grammys are a JOKE.

No way "Bad" shouldn't have gotten nominated.

My 5 that should be nominated:

Bad - Wale
Power Trip - J. Cole
Started From the Bottom - Drake
Crooked Smiles - J. Cole
Poetic Justice - Kendrick Lamar

Honorable Mentions:
Type of Way - Rich Homie Quan
Versace - Migos ft. Drake
UOENO - Rocko ft. Future, Rick Ross

Fixed

The Grammy's are definitely a joke. They could easily hire some black "consultants" to tell them what's really happening in the urban/hip hop community. Instead they pick some sh*t nobody listens to. Or maybe its completely intentional :ohhh: Maybe they pick these bullsh*t azz songs on purpose so when they eventually give the award to Macklemore, they can say his song was really the best choice :troll:

Yeah he means the "area" and you're right, the min you say "Montgomery County" everyone in this area anyway immediately thinks of "rich kid" so he wouldn't have any cred if he did that which is odd seeing as how he doesn't get into any material that would make you question his credibility.

It was NOMINATED dumbass:

"In da Club" peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming 50 Cent's first number one single. At the 46th Grammy Awards, it was nominated forBest Male Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Song. The song's music video won Best Rap Video and Best New Artist at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. In 2009, the single was listed at number 24 in Billboard's Hot 100 Songs of the Decade.[1] It was listed at number 13 in Rolling Stone's "Best Songs of the Decade". In 2010, it was ranked 448th in the Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list.[2]

What's your point? I never said it wasn't nominated, did I, dumbass? It didn't win and it was a lot fukking bigger than Bad, was it not?

Wale is ok but I can't get into his music because he'd had some very trash bars...

On that song heavens afternoon...dude said..."getting higher than Shaquille O Neal free throw pe-centage"...uh...Wale...that is not very high...you should have used somebody like Nash or Mark Price...I'm higher than Shaqs free throw % right now and I aint smoked in about 3 days...

That line legit made me upset at Wale's trashiness for some reason and I have been actively avoiding his music since then
