Kyrie and Dame for their superior shooting? Because I can't see an argument for anything else lol...

Dame ethered Westbrook and PG basically by his damn self. Better shooter, more clutch, under control, better ball handler, better leader. He's been a better player than Westbrook for years, but the numbers don't support it.

Kyrie is arguably the greatest 1 on 1 player ever, and he's clutch. He hasn't proven that he can be a #1 option on a championship level team, but neither has Westbrook, I'd rather have a controlled weapon like Kyrie that I know how to win with rather than a loose cannon that you really don't know what you're getting out of when it matters.

I always thought of West as more of a 2-guard, no? If I'm wrong I made a major oversight, he is definitely near the top of the list...

That's why I said if we include West and AI then it becomes a debate. Those 2 players are seen more like shooting guards than point guards, even though they played a lot of point guard through their careers.

And what we not gonna do in 2020 is keep giving Bob Cousy prime real estate on these lists :hhh:

Haha I tend to agree but he was kind of the "first" great point guard and he gets on all these lists whenever you see a new one come out, so I had to mention him...

I don't disagree though, it's how I also feel about people still putting Bill Russell in their overall Top 10. Like dude's work will never be forgotten but at this stage in the game, over 50 years since he hung em up, you can't tell me there haven't been 10 better players...so I get you on the Cousy thing...

There's nothing clutch about Dame lmao, he is barely a Top 5 point if his era. Dude is a perennial choker, don't let last season erase the rest of his career...

Westbrook was a better #2 with KD and PG than Dame was to Aldridge, and since Aldridge left Dame has folded every playoffs. He got bailed out by CP3 and Blake getting hurt in '16 because the Blazers were down 0-2 in that series with Dame shooting .333/.214/.818 and averaging 19/4/5.5 (1.4:1 assist to turnover ratio) in those first two games---->regular season that year he was .419/.379/.892, 25.1/4/6.8 with a 2.1:1 assist-to-turnover rate...

As usual he was getting his ass kicked before Clips fell apart, and that really is the story of every playoffs for him. Was hot and had the series of his life vs OKC last year and got progressively worse in Rd 2 and Rd 3...

I don't know that I'd call Dame a better leader, either...

Kyrie is clutch but injury prone and a cancer, I can see the argument for him more, though...

I would take Russ over Kidd and Parker.

He's nowhere close to being the playmaker Russ is. That nikka won against PG with no shoulders-- and a one-handed Russ. He's been swept THREE times. Russ never been swept out the playoffs.

How many teams has Kyrie led to the playoffs?

From the PG’s I’ve seen play, I’m taking following 8 over him in a heartbeat.

Magic
Isiah
Stockton
Steph
Kidd
Nash
CP3
Glove

I never seen Big O play, but that’s an easy choice. Never seen Cousey play either, so I won’t comment. Clyde is a toss up as well.

So that already leaves Russ out of the 10 spot or at the 10 spot depending on your opinion on Cousey and Clyde.

I personally would rather have Kyrie as my number 2 than Russ.

How not???:stopitslime:
CP3 is a better player more skilled, more I.Q., higher level peak seasons, better on offense, better on defense. I mean it’s not hard to tell.

I guess you gassed off freak athleticism and motor and triple double averages where he monopolized the ball to an extent no player in history has and caught freebounds
