The difference is thay 0W20 is thinner and it's better for fuel ecomony and cold winters, than 5W20 at colder temps. OW20 last longer than 5W20.

It was old because it was only affordable whip to get me from point A to point B, and it was taken care of each year in it's use by a family member, who knew every problem from the back bumper to the front bumper.
I'll take my chances with a old whip from a person who takes cares of their car vs a shady ass dealership any day, and I rather be able to afford my car then be 3 months late like a lot of people trying to live more than they can afford.
