Durant has struggled because he has been building a reputation for being physically weak and passive over the last several years. He'd be the GOAT if he played with Westbrook ambition

don't get me wrong, I think durant is a soft coward too

but I believe durant would have won at least one ring by now if they kept harden and traded westbrook

at the end of the day, durant is the #1 guy...but westbrook thinks he's the #1 guy and refuses to accept his role as a sidekick; a team with that mentality cannot win a title no matter how talented they are

and when/if durant leaves, it's gonna be a rude awakening for westbrook

That Lakers cast did not carry Kobe to his last two rings. They helped but saying they carried him is a stretch. Besides that point . Westbrook can win a ring but they have to design a team based around his playing style.

i take it you forget all the bailouts he had in 2010. i almost lost count :sas1:

but off top

a brick in game 6 vs an 8TH seed thunder that gasol tipped in to avoid a game 7

an AIRBALL game 5 of the suns series that was put back by ron artest at the buzzer to avoid going down 3-2 and on the road vs the suns

6-24 in game 7 of the finals :sas2:

:laff: stop it

U mean ghost in the playoffs harden? While Russ dropped that 40+ game in the finals, and was keeping the thunder in the game? And we've seen what KD does minus russ too so kill the noise.

I don't care about his triple doubles

I don't care about him being a gunner with a killer instinct

I don't care about him shyttin on media cacs in the locker room

he will NEVER win a ring as long as he plays the way he plays now, his style is not conducive to winning; his style is conducive to making himself look good and getting fans of hero ball to rally behind him

I understand why the kobe stans think so highly of him, but kobe had the luxury of playing with the most dominant player of all time for his first 3 rings, and a decent enough cast to carry him to his last 2

sabo doesn't have that luxury, and the way he shoots his team outta games and refuses to even acknowledge his teammates in late game situations is fun to watch, but it will never get him anywhere except espn highlights

durant leaving okc in 2016 will expose westbrook for the pretender he really is

it's hard to argue hypotheticals, I was just throwing that out there because I feel like harden would have continued his growth into the player he is now, and he obviously would have meshed better with durant and the team dynamic

maybe you're right tho :manny:

but do you think harden is to blame for them losing in the finals?

and do you think russy will ever get a ring? :mjpls:

I disagree

Russ is only playing this way because Durant is out,and it shows everytime Durant is out, soon as Durant comes back Russ goes back to his 24&8 games, anybody that thinks Russ will play like this with Durant out there is a jackass, not going to happen,OKC is the best team in the league from top to bottom IMO and I can see them getting that ring this year.

Now if Westbrook does this same stuff with Durant out there then we have a problem.

interesting moments you brought up. my memory is a little foggy, so i had a cuttla questions for you, maybe you could help me out. that gasol tip in, was that the same game he dropped 9 points?

you seen to have an interesting definition of "carry"

about that artest tip in at the buzzer... was that the same series Kobe averaged 34,7, and 8 on 52%, 42%, and 88% shooting?
fuBzXg3.png

in regards to that 6-24 game, was that the final game of a grueling 7 game series in which everyone pretty much had a horrible field goal percentage?
