I had the worst experience ever with customer service at Tidal. fukk them and I hope they go under
I've used all 3 music services for moderate amounts of time (monthly for 6+ months on each service) and came to the conclusion Tidal is fukking dog shyt

Spotify is the most audience-friendly no doubt but Apple Music is the edgiest so I fukks with Apple Music

Apple Music is just so hipsterish and dope I can't help it

Tidal fukking sucks Jay Z fukking sucks :mjlol: at him getting hustled by the Northern Europeans:martin:

for grown ass men some of yall are so ignorant

the loss isn't a big deal

the fact its the fastest growing is because it's the newest

tidal will most likely get bought out by apple, it would lose the long run streaming war and they know it

If 28 million last year is a huge loss then what about Spotify? They posted a loss of 200 million in 2015. Lol
They won't admit it, but they are all losing money...it's called the RECORD BUSINESS, not the streaming business....music being on a digital format will lose steam and cd's will remain the norm. Apple switches to lightning jacks, no telling what android will do....a CD player in your car will always be trustworthy.....Silicon Valley attempted the takeover, but longevity is harder than it seems.

That loss doesnt look so bad...

...if you have a lot of VC backing you. Tidal got Jay-Z. His pockets arent that deep.

Why you telling working class plebian commoners that they're stupid for not being able to relate to or understand business, or multi-million dollar business at that?

The article serves to lower the stock in the company's value though

If spotify has 8-9x the.paid users as Tidal and spotify is losing money, why wouldn't tidal be losing money? Especially when your first x amount of users go to fixed startup costs. Not everything is a kkk conspiracy to bring down black business owners

stupid =/= ignorant

there's some purposefully ignorant people on this board with annoying agendas and/or characters to keep up

i just try to bring neutrality to threads as much as i can

You're assuming that he needs to beat Apple to be successful. He doesn't. No one sells more laptops than Apple but Dell, Samsung, HP, Lenovo are all still profitable.

Look at the streaming market:

Spotify
Apple
Tidal
Deezer
Google Play Music
Pandora
Amazon

Tidal is probably going to surpass Deezer for third place soon. Samsung Milk just went out of business. I don't see how being in third place in a crowded market while going up against giants is somehow a loss. Are Hulu and HBOGo losers because of Netflix?

That's not true:

Apple gains notebook market share in 2015, but can't top HP and Lenovo

That's u....but from a material value standpoint, nothing really beats a CD. Think of it this way, if distributors suddenly dropped the price of cd's to 7.99 - 8.99 everyone would bounce back.....

Having a premium streaming service is 240.00 a year, when we bought cd's the average fan had everything they wanted and didn't spend that much annually(most didnt average a $20 cd a month). Only a matter of time before people realize the gouging taking place:yeshrug:

TRUE.. Uber is projected to lose almost $3 BILLION this year
:yeshrug:

I'd never lose that much because soon as I hit the $15 milli mark i'm selling it and walking away like :sas2:

Even when i go on the casino, if I hit for $200 or $250 im gone. My patnas will stay and keep betting and walk off with 1000 - 1500

i dont need the whole pie tho, i just want a piece and im cool
