Yet and still we are heading backwards, economically and now spiritually (at an even faster rate) . We have had 400 + years of historical evidence as to why we should be united as a people. We have had Marcus Garvey. We have had Malcolm X. We have had Martin Luther King and countless others. How tragic it is that after every opportunity we've had to collectively change, we are now in 2016 and heading back to the proverbial plantation. We didn't learn from slavery. We didn't learn from Jim Crow. A people who do not learn from their own history are bound to fail.

yeah early 2000. the black city council and the mayor, at first they co-sign him, pledge 30 million to the "African town"(black business district) but the Mexicans, arabs, jews, Chinese came together with some cac female and black female city counsel to stop it and basically saying its reverse discrimination, he playing the "Race card"

It's like I've been saying, Claud and all the other sensible black advisors have it wrong. Economics will do nothing for black people in this system of white supremacy. We don't own the resources! The best we can do is rent.

We're in a prison society, with prison rules. We know what needs to be done, we all do. Most of us are too afraid to admit it though.

In prison once you've been raped...which is what black men have been...there's only one way to get your respect back. You can't just get your commissary (economics) up. I can truly understand his frustration. Working so hard to try to open the eyes of your people. We're going through another round of severe nationwide Police Brutality (in TWENTY fukkING SIXTEEN) where police can murder a man on CAMERA and it's just another day at the office. The shyt is disheartening, especially coming from a man whose been going hard for black progression since the 70's. It must seem like there is no true "progress" to be had.


I also read that article about the proposed black business district in Detroit being shut down. THAT truly pissed me off.

I am too. We got to do drastic changes, like start having a small number of pro black people build through group economics, having the selfless pro blacks move through silence and power to gain the things that we need, and cut the crap off of c00nery. I'm sure that black folk are thinking the same way, thanks to the Internet. My FB feed is filled with pro black people who push black knowledge and knowledge of self and solutions of what we need.
