he in my top 10
Huge fan. Unfortunately for him I don’t think he can break into my top 20, just too many guys who influenced my music tastes in formative years etc.
but I’m 30 and realistically it’d be borderline impossible for an artist to have that kind of crazy impact on me to get in my top 20.
Legendary in a lot of ways but can’t put him with the likes of my favorite 90s and early 2000s. Salute that man though

Im prepared to give Freddie Gibbs Cormega's spot or right after Az's spot in the game right now.
He has 2 classic or near classic albums.
Yet... production carries him.
He has NO battles. No hit singles.
About 5 quotables that I can think of off the top of my head.
He hasn't done anything legendary yet REALLY.
He needs to battle somebody and he needs to run atleast 2-3 summers to look inside top 25 ever lists. he is top 50 for sure tho
behind redman Az, before cormega, after mc eiht.
he is nice and top 5 in the 2010's nicer than j cole to me but he needs to solidify his spot by more classics and some battles.

nikkas in the top ten all have ended careers. have 1-3 classics, classic singles, and songs immortalized in hiphop.
sidenote. Scottie pippen verse from freddie gibbs is one of the best rhymes i heard this decade. But thats his biggest accolade.

well he is one of my favorite rappers at the moment. I’ll stop what I’m doing and check for anything new he drops. Only a handful get that treatment...
