I been a freddie fan since 2007 he peaked with pinata. :unimpressed:Sadly every since then hes been playing it up like he was and is a big time drug dealer pushing keys and taking to Mexicans at the border. :mjlol:dude is clearly in it for the money now. He had some good songs since pinata but most his albums now center around him being a drug lord. :gucci:you cant take him serious anymore.

This is low key a crazy take. What does Gibbs need to do?

Everyone knows they 90’s was the golden age. The 00’s was good, but many people think the 10’s were a better decade for hip hop than the 00’s.

hip-hop didnt start in the '90s.
the '80s was just as much a golden age(if not more), and it was around nearly a decade before then as well.

and naw, the '10s were NOT better than the '00s. the 10s was the weakest decade thus far.

not in my top 100, but thats far from a bad thing.

I really like Gibbs but like him more over trap beats or hard beats. His tapes with madlib and alchemist are nice, but that shyt can be too soft at times.

I know it didn’t start in the 90’s, but most people posting on this board weren’t old enough to be able to appreciate hip hop in the 80’s. I wasn’t not counting the decade. I just didn’t mention it. I shouldn’t have even tried to compare decades to make my point that the 2010s was incredible and highly slept on if you knew where to look

The 2010's were amazing for me. I was well fed the whole time, especially the past couple years. :blessed:

He’s a cult favorite and is one of the best Midwest rappers

To be top anything you have to have some type of mainstream presence :patrice:
Mainstream presence is a very broad term but I agree he needs to create some legacy for himself, have some impact on the culture. Just having a dope discography isn't enough.
