Was having this thought yesterday while playing the new album. His project run for the last few years has been flawless. So much of his music stays in my rotation. Hell I even play his Tiny Desk likes it’s it’s own EP. Also he always says something in his songs that doesn’t get me initially, but after a few listens I’m like damn. Subtle deep shxt. Plus Him, DaBaby and Joyner Lucas are the only rap artists I check for and rewatch videos from. He’s definitely going to end up way higher in my rankings.

Overall I’d say top 40/50 but if we do it by decade or current gen, he top 3 of the 2010s easily.:yeshrug:

Both he and Roc Marci are on the Beans, Styles P, Mega tier for me....but they're both trending upwards with every release they drop.

In terms of my personal enjoyment they have a strong chance of cracking the top 10

Obviously consensus is a whole 'nother argument

Just make a list with who you would put above him.

(No order)
Nas
Kool G Rap
Rakim
Jay-Z
Notorious B.I.G.
Andre 3000
2pac
Scarface
Ice Cube
Chuck D
Lupe Fiasco
Pharoahe Monch
Black Thought
Kendrick Lamar
Q-Tip
Ghostface Killah
MF Doom
Roc Marciano
Slick Rick
KRS One
Big Daddy Kane
Common
Mos Def
Prodigy
Redman
Guru
LL Cool J
Big Pun
Eminem (I hate what he has become but he should still be in this list with his SSLP-MMLP-TES run + Relapse)

I guess he's top 30, i could put him at the end of the list maybe even above a few of these names. And i might add Killer Mike, Pusha T, Skyzoo and Ka from the 2000-2010s too.

Gotta be in the top 20 since 2010.

BUT ya'll are discounting his live performance/live rapping skills. If we're going there, he's top 15 for sure.
