Its a given. Mbdtf is hailed as a top 10 ever rap album, tpab is better than mbdtf.I don't agree with that at all but to each his own.
False Prophetz and everybody dies are better than a majority of the tracks on here.
@ people in here bringing up Kendrick outta nowhere to talk down on Cole....sound really insecure about your boy.don't be afraid...the people in power won't allow Kendrick to be taken over anyway.
this album is more like a passion project for his daughter, and people should accept it for what it is. maybe you could appreciate it more if you were a dad, maybe not. the dude is still spittin' hard throughout, and i like the album on first listen. i will be listening some more.
drake's worst album is better than Cole's best
and I actually enjoy cole more than drake
Definitely. But its not fair to compare them as cole doesn't know how to display any songwritting abilities

Im hoping kendricks next album will be some electronic jazz fusion shyt.One thing I think we can agree on is that Jazz and Hip Hop are a such a heavenly combination
i may lose my mind. Wesleys theory first listen had me in shambles.

from what i can tell in this thread...the only people who brought up kendrick first were ones that are obvious cole fans trying to paint this as his "tpab" when its not comparable at all

but my nikka was rapping about drinking almond milk and folding clothes like he's a housewife...i'm sorry...but that dont move me
i like his past projects more

I personally think Kendrick is the better album maker and already has at least 1 classic to his name but at the same time a good amount Kendrick's songs are hit and miss, in that regard I would say Cole is the more consistent of the two at releasing quality material. And as an artist/producer myself I have an appreciation for Cole's ability to do both because it's incredibly difficult, people don't understand that.
