How is he going to tour this music?
I love K Dot and Cole but I hate when people pit them against eachother
I personally think Kendrick is the better album maker and already has at least 1 classic to his name but at the same time a good amount Kendrick's songs are hit and miss, in that regard I would say Cole is the more consistent of the two at releasing quality material. And as an artist/producer myself I have an appreciation for Cole's ability to do both because it's incredibly difficult, people don't understand that.
Theres some GREAT songs on here like Change, Neighbors and Ville Mentality are nice.I thought J. Cole was going for the crown with the songs he debuted....
...After listening to this, I can't help but feel disappointed.
Not like it's wack...It's just super aiiiight.... Too much singing, mood setting, trying to be musical shyt.....So much more he could've touched on content wise...
I feel bamboozled a bit after he dropped this....
come to find out this is better than, damn near, everything on the project...
False Prophets huh...what a coincidence
Second half is definitely better than the first half.Started off trash, 2nd half of the album saved things
Change, Neighbours are dope
Title song maybe Cole best ever song.
Bruh, no offense but if u missed the point of the ablum and felt like he was "going in circles" then u mite be a bit slowi dont understand why people keep comparing this to tpab......
tpab is a much more well rounded project....
this just feels incomplete....like its really missing something
usually 10 tracks on an album usually means its direct and hitting its point with zero miscalculations....but this shyt should be atleast 12-14 tracks if he's going with this type of vibe.
cole likes rapping around in circles without staying on subject with something thought provoking
like someone else said...i aint tryna hear a nikka rap about folding clothes.
i liked fhd more.
Lmao completely forgot about the kanye dissfunny that the guy who was dissing kanye just dropped the most underwhelming album of 2016
