@modern rap fans who rather listen to Cardi B rap about sucking dikks than to hear an artist break down the several real world hazards of addiction escapism and materialism .... but I suppose that’s just a sign of the times and really underscores how poignant the message of this album is









Imagine calling yourself an appreciator of rap then listening to “Window Pain” and your ears telling you that this is “wack music” I honestly feel sorry for some of these dudes ....gotta hope for their sake it’s trolling

I wish Kendrick and Cole would stop fukking around and drop that collab LP.

Cole is a great lyricist, but this album isn't putting him over the top imo. I respect his hustle though. He keeps production costs low since he's basically a one man show, and probably pockets a lot of those cost savings.

I'll have to revisit it when I have more time to digest.
